Counseling the Doubter of Their Own Motives
Overview:
This person is stuck in a loop of second-guessing their heart behind past decisions. Even if the outcomes weren’t sinful, they feel disqualified or unsure of how to move forward. They might ask, “Did I do it for the right reasons?” and fear they’ve misrepresented Christ, failed spiritually, or can no longer be used by God. Your role is to restore their confidence—not in their perfect motives, but in God’s perfect mercy and sovereignty.
