Some counselees display spiritual interest—but only when life falls apart. Their “faith” is shallow, self-serving, and seasonal. This cheat sheet helps counselors wisely address this form of godliness that lacks transforming power (2 Tim. 3:5). Our goal is not behavior modification, but true submission to Christ that endures beyond crisis.
